Education (B.Ed.)
The
Secondary Teacher Education programme, commonly known as B.Ed.,
is
meant
for preparing teachers for senior secondary schools. B.Ed.
programme
is
approved by NCTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Jiwaji
University,
Gwalior.
B.Ed. trained teachers are eligible as T.G.T. for Central
School,
Navodaya
Vidhyalaya, Delhi Municipal Co-orporation Schools, Madhyamic
Siksha
Chayan Board, Specific B.T.C. Uttar Pradesh Samvida-Sikshak,
various
exams of P.S.C. and other competitive exams. After doing B.Ed.
one
can
seek admission in M.Ed.
The
BEd / DEd course is approved by NCTE ,New Delhi and Department

higher
education, Bhopal, Govt of M.P. and is affiliated to
Jiwaji Univ.

(Elementary Teacher Education Programme)
The D.Ed.(Elementary Teacher
Education programme) Programme will be started in July 2010. The D.Ed.Programme is meant for preparing teachers for elementary schools
(primary and upper primary/middle). D.Ed. programme is helpful in all
round development of students, interested in joining teaching profession.
After doing D.Ed. they are well trained for teaching primary classes and are
preferred in different States such as Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and in Central
Schools.

Govt. rules)
Eligibility
Senior Secondary Certificate (+2) in any discipline with minimum of
50% marks (45% for SC/ST Candidates)
and minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission i.e. 1st July of every
year.
